My Geneas Song
I hear my generation singing a song,
a collaboration of voices, styles, and emotions I hear,
the Waves of change, uncertainty, and life coursing through this mass body.
I see the wealth of dreams present in their eyes,
along with the emptiness of hope upon their future.
They sing shades of Blue as negativity Surrounds them,
Overpowers them, Consumes them, all in a last effort to covey to the world,
the struggles they face, the confusion they are in,
the indecisive habit they've crystallized.
I hear my generation singing a song,
a lonely melody dancing in the Breeze,
the taste of Salty bitterness in the air,
as the Rain starts to fall and Flood my surroundings.
I Float among this mass body,
the Tides of people pulling me left and right,
the Current pulling me where it desires.
I fight side by side with my generation,
as we push ourselves up above the Vortex of defeat,
avoiding being pulled under and Drowned,
resisting the tempting decision to give up.
I Wade through this mass body,
moving to escape it,
as the negativity Drips off me,
behind me as I leave,
I hear my generation singing a song.
a collaboration of voices, styles, and emotions I hear,
the Waves of change, uncertainty, and life coursing through this mass body.
I see the wealth of dreams present in their eyes,
along with the emptiness of hope upon their future.
They sing shades of Blue as negativity Surrounds them,

the indecisive habit they've crystallized.
